In conjunction with the project architects, we developed an interior scheme for Ffwrnes, the new creative centre for the arts & the community which is located in the hub of the town’s new development centre. Based on the historical link with the metal and tinplate industry of Llanelli, the strong graphic ‘flame’ theme was introduced to reflect movement and a feeling of a warm welcome to visitors in the main reception and café area.
This was one project that we had a limited budget to work to and as part of the public sector, we made every effort to produce an eye-catching design theme which complements the strong links with Llanelli’s historic tinplate industry.
